AgentMail's native integration is now available on the Vercel Marketplace. Any project you deploy on Vercel can now give its agents a real inbox to send from, reply in, search, and react to, provisioned from the Vercel dashboard with no separate account and no separate bill.

AgentMail, the email infrastructure for AI agents, is now available as a native integration on the Vercel Marketplace. We've partnered with Vercel to allow all Vercel customers to give their agents an email inbox to interact with the world. You can create millions of inboxes via API, allowing your projects to give agents a real digital identity on the internet. Send and receive email with zero complexity.

Developers can now give the agents in their Vercel projects a real inbox, provisioned straight from the Vercel dashboard, with credentials injected as environment variables and usage rolled into a single Vercel invoice.

Partnering with Vercel was natural here: Vercel is where agents get built and shipped, and AgentMail is the identity and communications layer underneath the agent. We are committed to making email a first-class channel for the agents you deploy, with nothing to wire up by hand.

Why do AI agents need email?

To be a first-class user of the internet, you need an email address. It is the credential everything else hangs off. You sign up for services with it, perform formal business communication with it, receive the verification codes, receipts, effectively your life's context. No inbox, no account, and no communication with 4 billion other humans on the internet who use it. The web has worked this way for thirty years and agents have not changed it.

With incumbent human tools, agents were able to send via transactional email APIs, but they could not receive, so they leaned on a human's inbox to catch a code or a reply. Relying on a shared personal inbox does not scale, and it breaks the moment you run more than one agent.

AgentMail steps in to solve this:

A real, ownable identity. Each agent can get its own address that sends and receives, holds across runs, and outlasts any single task.

Built for autonomy. Inboxes are an API resource. Creation and deletion of inboxes are simple, done within a single line of code.

Threading and memory for free. The full thread history is searchable, so context survives past a single serverless invocation.

This is more than a transactional email API. We're a stateful email provider, more akin to Gmail than something like SendGrid.

Whether you are shipping a support agent, a browser agent, or a multi-tenant app where every customer needs their own inbox, AgentMail makes email easy, programmatic, and durable.

Why Vercel Marketplace?

AgentMail's native integration provides the following advantages for Vercel projects:

One-click install and consolidated billing. The Vercel Marketplace native integration makes connecting to AgentMail as easy as clicking a button, with no separate signup. You keep using Vercel as you normally would, with Vercel managing billing and rolling up a consolidated invoice each month.

Zero-config credentials. Vercel injects your AgentMail credentials into the project as environment variables, so there is nothing to copy and paste and no secrets to manage by hand. Read the inbox straight from your environment.

Pay for what you use. A usage-based model with no upfront cost and no resource provisioning headaches. Add inboxes as your agent fleet grows.

Scales with your app. As your application gains traction, AgentMail scales alongside it, from one agent to millions of per-tenant inboxes.

Start building with AgentMail on Vercel

To get started, install AgentMail from the marketplace, pull the credentials from your environment, and send your first message in a few lines. No SMTP, no OAuth, no hassle.

Here is what that unlocks for teams building on Vercel:

Signups and verification. A browser or workflow agent signs up for a service, receives the confirmation link or one-time code in its own inbox, and clicks through. No human relay, no shared Gmail.

Two-way conversations. A support, sales, or operations agent holds a real threaded exchange with a customer, with replies arriving on a webhook and the full thread available to search.

Per-tenant inboxes. A multi-tenant app gives every customer or every agent its own isolated inbox and domain, provisioned by API, without per-tenant mail infrastructure. So you can effectively white-label AgentMail for your own customers.

The inbox as memory. Thread history is a durable record the agent can search across runs, so context survives past any single deploy or function invocation.

It is finally possible to give the agents you ship on Vercel a real email identity, directly from the dashboard you already deploy from.
