Summary
Agent Armor is now in AgentMail Labs. An organization admin can turn it on from the console, and every message your inboxes receive is scanned for attempts to manipulate an AI agent.
What’s new?
- Agent Armor in Labs: after joining AgentMail Labs, an organization owner or admin turns on Agent Armor under Settings, then Labs. It is free while it is in Labs.
- Verdicts on messages: a scanned message carries an
agent_armorresult. Acompleteresult has a verdict ofclearorreview, with a short reason. message.security.completed: a webhook and WebSocket event sent when a scan reaches a verdict.- Feedback:
POST /v0/inboxes/{inbox_id}/messages/{message_id}/agent-armor/feedbackrecords whether a verdict was right. - Never in the way: Agent Armor never holds, delays or changes mail.
- Availability: US production (
api.agentmail.to), not yet EU production (api.agentmail.eu).
Use cases
- Keep instructions hidden in inbound email from reaching your agent’s tools unchecked.
- Route suspicious messages to a person before your agent replies.

Summary
Agents can now check and join AgentMail Labs through the API. Any organization API key can check whether the organization is in Labs, and one with no permissions restriction can join it once the organization has decided to, without opening the console.
What’s new?
New endpoints:
GET /v0/organizations/labs(Get Labs): whether the organization is in Labs, when it joined, and whether Labs is offered in this deployment. Any organization-scoped API key can call it.POST /v0/organizations/labs(Join Labs): joins Labs for the whole organization. Joining again has no effect.
Details:
- Joining needs an organization-scoped API key with no permissions restriction, and a verified organization.
- There is no leave on the API. An organization admin can leave in the console under Settings, then Labs.
- Get Labs reads the same for an organization that never joined and one whose admin left, so don’t join automatically just because
enabledisfalse. - API keys see the change within five minutes.
- Labs is available in US production (
api.agentmail.to), not yet in EU production (api.agentmail.eu).
Use cases
- Build agents that check whether their organization is in Labs before calling calendar endpoints.
- Join Labs from a setup script once your organization has decided to use Labs features.
Calendar is the first feature in Labs. Read the Calendar overview to get started.
